Push In Introduction Cage

Push- In Cages are one of the most succesful ways to introduce a queen. It allows her to begin laying eggs before she is released, and laying queens have higher pheromone levels which increase her chance of being accepted by the receiving colony. Putting the cage over the soon to emerge brood insures nurse bees to care for the new queen. Also can be used to isolate the queen.
