Hanging Bird Feeder

This bird feeder hangs easily from any branch, nail or hook, and is the perfect size for a block of suet. Bird seed can also be used, but with a seed mix very small pieces may fall through the mesh screen (although I have found both squirrels & birds appreciate the ground offerings).

The stainless steel mesh screen on the bottom ensures it does not fill with water during rain. The feeder will sway a bit when hung but birds don't mind it at all, and will even stay put on the edge when not feeding.

The wood frame is treated with a non-toxic sealer, but painting over this  with exterior grade paint will make it last even longer.  I tested one out over the last year and it has held up quite well, even with a harsh winter. There is a twine hoop tied at the top, making it easy to hang.

Please note the block of suet does not come standard, but can be added.
