Classic Northwest Hive

This Classic Northwest Hive keeps the cost low while still providing a first rate home for your bees.  It comes with cleated and rabbet jointed hive boxes, a solid bottom board, and an inner cover. On top is our Premium Telescoping Lid that provides excellent protection. Less expensve than our other hive offerings, this is still an excellent choice for a beekeeper looking for a high quality hive on a budget.  An equipment starter kit is also available.

A single deep box might be sufficient but there is an option to have two to accommodate a strong colony. Comes standard with a honey super.

 Includes:

- Solid bottom board & entrance reducer.

-Either one or two deep hive boxes for the brood chamber, and one  medium honey super. Includes frames for each box.

-A deep inner cover and our Premium Telescoping Lid.

This hive comes fully assembled with wood frames installed with beeswax coated plastic foundation. We use black foundation in the brood boxes to help you find eggs, and white foundation in the honey super.
