With the demise of Brushy Moutain Bee Farm in October in November 2018, we have been scrambling to reform the Ruhl Bee Supply store. We don't have time to bring back the old Ruhl this season, so our first priority is to make sure you have access to local product as well as nucs, packages and queens. We have taken this chance to start afresh with a new name, while acknowledging the long history of Ruhl Bee. Our new online store is HiveAndGarden.com. We are adding more products daily. So if you don't see what you need, try again soon.
We are already shipping product, and are offering Saturday pickup at our woodshop and apiary in West Linn, where my wife has made a wonderful bee garden. We are putting up a "farm stand" that is zoned for agricultural business, so this will be our temporary bee store.
Sadly, the Bee Built company also went out of business at the end of 2018, so this has not been the best of times for beekeepers in the Portland area. We wish Matt Reed all the best in whatever path he takes next.
