Entrance Feeder (Boardman Feeder)

The entrance feeder is a classic.  It cantilevers at the entrance of your hive, and provides the bees access to the jar of sugar. The 70 mm jar lid is perforated and the bees can draw the water out of the jar.  These feeders are great for new beekeepers in the spring. They allow the beekeeper to see how much syrup is left without having to go inside the hive to check. Comes with plastic feeder and perforated lid. Jar is not included, but a standard mayo. jar will fit.

We suggest purchasing an extra lid for each Boardman feeder you purchase in case the lid that comes with it is lost or damaged.

These Boardman lids measure .63” high by 2.875” wide.  They can be cleaned with warm water and we recommend cleaning them at the end of every season.
