This mason bee nesting house is made in the Pacific Northwest from pine harvested in the Pacific Northwest. Its cedar roof has a steep slope to efficiently shed rain. The attic under the sloped roof provides plenty of room to house your new mason bee cocoons if you are just starting out as a mason bee host.

It comes with a 32-hole pine nesting block that has plenty of spacing between nesting holes.  Mason bees can get confused when holes are spaced too close together.  This block can be disassembled each year so you can easily harvest the mason-bee cocoons and clean out the nesting holes to improve nesting hygiene.  This helps prevent build up of feces, chalkbrood, and pests.
