This black plastic foundation is generously coated with beeswax to ensure a faster comb build-out by the bees. (You can see all the "excess" beeswax in the picture.) It has beeway tabs in the bottom corners that you can break off to help the bees get around in their nest more easily. Approximate dimensions are 16.75' by 8.375".
