This is a strong and dark wildflower honey from Eastern Oregon. While still sweet, it is much more dry while still having strong notes of buckwheat and molasses. Straight buckwheat honey can be quite offputting to many people (although some are obsessed with it), and this is not nearly as potent but still has a very unique taste.
Our honey is always raw, with a very coarse gravity filter that allows all the food value to remain and the larger objects to be removed. We never heat our honey beyond the natural temperature of the hive, so the enzymes remain in tact.
